THE JOURNEY
Day by day
Drive toward Yamunotri
Travel to the Barkot area and rest before the shrine approach.
Yamunotri darshan
Travel to the trailhead and use an approved walking or assistance option.
Travel to Uttarkashi
Continue through the mountains with regular breaks.
Gangotri darshan
Visit Gangotri by road and return toward Uttarkashi.
Long drive to Guptkashi
Allow a full day through Garhwal and rest on arrival.
Kedarnath approach
Reach the approved trailhead and trek or use a confirmed permitted service.
Kedarnath darshan
Plan temple time around local access and weather; begin descent as arranged.
Return from Kedarnath
Complete the descent and transfer to a lower-altitude stay.
Drive to Badrinath
Travel via the Joshimath area and visit the shrine if access permits.
Return through Garhwal
Allow a full road day and overnight break.
Return and departure
Drive back to Haridwar for the agreed connection.
