Day by day
Acclimatisation and briefing
Keep activity light and review permits, health and remote-road conditions.
Travel toward Changthang
Drive gradually east with planned breaks and a confirmed overnight.
Travel to Hanle
Continue to the village; stargaze only with suitable weather and local access.
Changthang lake route
Travel by permitted road to the Tso Moriri area with a local driver.
Return to Leh
Allow a long road day and an overnight buffer before flying onward.
